for accessing the Compliance Depot remote processing server.

for assistance with getting into the new server if you are having
issues gaining access.
Instructions
1) Download
and install the RealPage VPN.
Click on a link
below to download the RealPage VPN. If you have
security
software that attempts to block this download make sure you select
allow or unblock etc. if you are prompted.

installing try this download - Click Here
a) After clicking on one of the download links above select Run,
the program should start installing. During the Install you
will
be prompted if you want to install, select Yes. You will also
have another window. Make sure to select the check box for
adding
a
shortcut to the desktop in this window. See below for
examples.
2) Connect
to the RealPage VPN. Once Installed, connect
to the VPN by double clicking on
the RealPage VPN shortcut on your desktop. You will need to
connect to the VPN first before you can connect to the new server.

a) In the
VPN Window Enter your Credentials. Your Username will be
"rri\Username" with no quotes. Your username is the first letter of
your first name and your last name. For instance John Smith's
username would be rri\jsmith. Your
password is set to the password that was emailed to you by Tracy
Castleman. Please also reference the username sheet she sent you to
verify your username. Once
you have completed the username password fields, select connect.
3) Connect to the new
remote processing server - Go To Start then All Programs then
Accessories then Remote Desktop Connection.
You also may already have a shortcut to remote desktop
connection on your desktop from the old server.
a) In the Remote Desktop window enter remotedesktop.corp.realpage.com
and select connect.
b)
When presented with a password prompt enter your credentials.
The
credentials will be the same as logging into the VPN,
"rri\username" and your password and then select Ok or the
blue
arrow.

c) You should then be taken to your terminal session. The
first
time you login you may see a short delay. Once you have
gotten to
the desktop, you are now conected to the new server!
4) Disconnecting from the
new server
- In the new system you must log off from
the server as you did previously when your done working, but you must also disconnect from
the RealPage VPN. Your session is not
completely closed until you disconnect from the server and the VPN.
a) Log off the terminal
server. Go to Start then Log off.
b) Disconnect from the
VPN.
In Windows XP, you can hover your mouse over the VPN
connection
in the bottom right corner of your screen and double click on this
icon. This will bring up a status window, from this window select
disconnect. In Windows 7, you can left click on the icon once
and
select the RealPage VPN, then select disconnect. Use the
